Artificial Intelligence

The camera in a smartphone is the most used feature by consumers. It’s the most important metric for the majority of the users before they buy a phone. The camera is the function that captures all our special moments of the day, all those selfies on family vacations, all those portrait mode shots and close up food images. It’s safe to say that cameras are the ‘socializing enabler’ of the common man.

We believe that technology is used to make people’s lives easier and hence make the world a better and a safer place to live. We thought that the camera has the potential to do much more than just capturing high quality images. We developed a product that takes the power of the modern camera tech to the next level.

We’re proud to introduce our new Artificial Intelligence Application Program Interface (API) that has endless capabilities. From detecting objects and faces to documents as well as signatures, it’s a cutting-edge piece of tech that ensures end to end safety.

Whenever you open the camera in your phone, the first thing it automatically does is detect the face it’s pointed towards. But other than that, it offers no additional useful information about what’s beneath the face or its surroundings. We have deep dive into 3 areas that a face represents namely; Detection, Match, and Emotion Detection.

Most people today use face detection to unlock their phones and companies have claimed that it is less secure than having a password or a code to unlock any smartphone. We are not only working towards increasing accuracy but also thought what else could face detection be used in? What spaces can this technology get into in order to make their lives easier.

We’ve developed a ground-breaking technology that not only can it detect a number of faces in a photo but can also notify the coordinates or the exact location of each face in the respective image. This can be used in the security industry in surveillance operations to ensure public safety in day to day public transport, offices, traffic signals, and sensitive areas like hospitals, banks, jewelry stores etc.

Every face has some unique points like the shape, structure, etc. Even if two people are identical twins, they’re not the same. Artificial Intelligence takes advantage of the advanced camera hardware to match one face with another.

Match is capable of comparing two faces with each other. This technology can be used in the security industry, police facial recognition systems to identify criminals, for attendance purposes in educational institutions for attendance, and workplaces as well to track shift timings and the number of hours put in by employees.

What a person says and what he feels are two different things. Are you happy with your job? Do you really care about the economy? One can respond to it in a publicly favorable manner but not mean it at all.

An employee survey in an organization costs USD 400 a year for one single employee and most of the time it’s not even in use. We took advantage of the capability of AI to detect the right emotions that a face is projecting. One of the key areas of use is for organizations to determine how happy or not an employee is in a certain work environment. In addition, emotion detection can be used to figure out the perfect partner or dating and wedding websites wherein one can see their emotional quotient, adventurous quotient, and other emotional and personality traits that are otherwise not visible. Instead of detecting the most common emoticon on social media platforms, they can detect the real emotions behind every image and see what is the ‘real emotion’ that’s trending on their platform. Educational institutions can detect the amount of pressure, stress or tension a student feels during examinations and hence help them tackle those areas. Criminals can be brought to justice during investigation and hence police can close the cases faster.

Optical Character Reader is a very significant component of AI that reads the text in any PDF document and converts it into machine encoded text. Any kind of document that has information like name, address, phone number, etc can be converted into text.

One of the most common use-case is while applying for jobs online, we have to enter the information after uploading our resume. It’s a time consuming task and there’s potential for error as well. OCR scans the document and converts the whole thing into simple text to make it easier to fill in information. This helps financial institutions like banks and insurance providers operate efficiently by reducing time and resources.

Signature Verification

AI powered signature verification uses deep learning that uses features of the handwriting and the text, and matches your signatures with the original. It’s always very hard to match signatures when you go to a bank to submit a cheque. There’s also the risk of false signatures or someone copying signatures for unethical usage. With Signature Verification, the signature will be matched by AI and deep learning automatically when submitted online and banks won’t have to check it manually. This reduces the risk of misuse of any signature and also helps achieve operational efficiency for financial institutions by reducing time, money and resources.

Object Detection

This is the most common and one of the first uses of AI when it came into the smartphone space. AI uses the advanced camera infrastructure to identify objects in a given environment. Social media platforms have to manually filter out unauthorized images in order to remove them from the website. AI can auto-detect such images and make the process faster. Self driving cars use object detection like red signal to stop and green to go, and also the map that gives them directions to turn and follow the route. Census 2021 in India is set to cost USD 1.675 billion as opposed to 300 million which is a 445% increase in operational costs. Adapting AI for census for tier 1, 2, and 3 cities will automatically reduce costs at least by 10%, we would have the true picture with us, and no one would have to go manually from household to household for surveys. This way, we can even track a large chunk of unregistered population or migrants that would help the government take the appropriate action.

Emerging technologies like artificial intelligence have impacted many industries throughout the world and companies are making strides on a daily basis to make products and applications that help various businesses function in a better manner and also help the environment by reducing the use of natural resources.

Recent findings in the area of Coronavirus detection using deep learning techniques made it possible to develop AI based tools for analyzing coronavirus with good accuracy.COVID detection API scans X-ray image and throws output in the form of positive or negative. We can achieve this by analyzing Chest X-Ray, CT-Scans and other clinical symptoms to detect COVID-19.. We could also analyze the remedies for current and future attacks of the same type.

The current scenario of COVID- 19. The role of AI is going to be crucial and very important l for predicting the outcome based on symptoms, CT-Scan, X-Ray reports etc. We worked with recently available datasets with various techniques in current literature to tackle same or related diseases.

Role of deep learning in the healthcare sector is well established and using deep learning techniques to analyze various diseases in literature.

Benefits of AI enabled Healthcare

Skin Lesion Detection

Leveraging artificial intelligence to detect skin Lesions and with better accuracy and in much faster time. Using AI to establish a process to not only fasten the diagnosis of the lesions but also help in faster treatments.

Currently the misdiagnosis rate for cancer is approximately 20%. That’s almost 1 out 5 patients.According to a recent study 28% of these cases are life threatening. Emerging Technologies like Artificial intelligence along with Deep learning are able to reduce These numbers for human errors.
